We transported a massive 170-ton transformer from Balıkesir to the Gürbulak Border Gate over a distance of 2122 km.
During this operation, we utilized one 8×4 heavy-duty tractor, two 6×6 tractors (for support on challenging curves and inclines), a 13-axle hydraulic modular trailer, and a special girder frame with a 220-ton carrying capacity. Due to the height of the transformer, we effectively used the modular axle trailers in conjunction with the girder frame to ensure the safe transport of the load.
Despite the challenges we faced along the way, our Yılnak engineering team made all the necessary modifications and adjustments, allowing the transport to proceed smoothly. At every stage of the operation, we maintained the highest level of safety through special permits obtained from 7 regions and the customized Highway protocols we prepared.
